FEBRUARY

JULY
§         July:  4th of July Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Concert and Fireworks @ Oregon Ridge – BSO concert at Oregon Ridge.  http://www.bsomusic.org/main.taf?p=1,1,1,3&PerfNo=8345
§         July:  Artscape – Takes place in Mt. Vernon mid July.   Great bands, street vendors, art,  They have a Target sponsored Kids tent where kids can play for hours.  Lots of music is kid friendly as well.  http://www.bop.org/index.cfm?page=events&id=7

SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER
§         September:  Baltimore Book Festival – Late September each year.  http://www.bop.org/index.cfm?page=events&id=9
§         September -

o       Especially Clark’s Elioak farm in Ellicott City, Weber Farm in White Marsh, & North Run Farm in Stevenson, Maryland.

§         October:  Oregon Ridge Nature Center Honey Bee Festival – Tour the Nature Center, go on a hayride, and make/eat Honey Ice Cream!  Coming up on October 2 and 3, 2010.  http://www.oregonridge.org/progrms.php
§         October:  Fells Point Festival – First week in October.  http://www.fellspoint.us/
§         October:  Downtown Baltimore Kids Month – Lots of free activities in Downtown Baltimore, including free admission days at different museums, etc.  http://www.kidslovedowntownbaltimore.com/index.htm
§         October  -   National Building Museum Family Festival (DC) - Amazing - The Family Festival (Saturday only) has a million building projects.  Kids build a whole city out of decorated cardboard boxes, make suncatchers, murals, plaster a wall, woodworking, making stained glass, drawing, cool giveaways, and too many other interesting things to count).  October 1st or 2nd Weekend  http://www.nbm.org/families-kids/festivals/foba.html
